House phones are officially dead everybody! Skype is the new phone in town. Skype allows you to chat to your friends over the internet with your microphone and speakers or headset absolutely free! On top of this, if you really want, you can get your own phone number and both call people on real phones or receive phone calls on your computer from a real phone. Skype let's you know what friends you currently have online just like MSN Messenger and it allows you to either chat with them instant messenger style or talk to them as if you were on a real phone. Skype allows you to use display pictures as well so you can see what the person you are talking to looks like.
I highly recommend downloading Skype as it is free and will be used more and more in the future. You might as well hop on the Skype bandwagon while it is still hot.
